A blizzard in May

Documenting this here for record keeping... 

Today we welcomed May with a blizzard! 

Calling it a blizzard might be a bit of an exaggeration (says Julian), but when I met a friend at the mall  we had to pull out coats and blankets. 

Poor Eli was crying and had snow stuck in his eyelashes from the short trip between car and entrance. 

We are all feeling a bit like this today.
It is hard to take snow seriously when you got a sunburn yesterday. 

I told the boys to look out the window and watch the snow, since they won't see it again until next winter. 

I hope I was telling the truth.
