I was the proud owner of the most miserable baby ever at Barnes and Noble this week.
And the mall, and IKEA, and at home...it has been rough.

Poor Lie-la-Lie.
Eli is usually a laid back, happy little guy, so I knew something was wrong.
He did his best to have fun at the play dates, but it has been one of those scenarios where he is fine in my arms but as soon as I set him down he's a mess.

Big brother started the week off in good spirits.
He didn't really seem sick, or hurt...just a little miserable.
By our next play date at the mall, BOTH boys were grumpy, Max joined the misery train due to Eli's frequent night waking I think.

Oh Eli, even teething won't stop him from flirting with restaurant patrons. He made two new friends.
Finally in Lush, among some delicious smelling bath salts, we got our definitive answer.
Eli opened his mouth extra wide while crying and I saw our culprit.
A bottom molar.
Upon further inspection he has a top molar poking through and two that are in the swollen blister stage.
So, he is getting 4 molars at once.
Misery explained.

Aww.
I remember molars being hard on Max too.
It is extra difficult since I can't explain to him why he is in pain, or that it will pass soon.
Well, I tried, but I'm not sure how much he understood.
So we have just had some extra snuggle time and kept him distracted.

I guess the good thing about getting 4 at once is that we are almost through it.
Miserable, miserable, molars.
