This weekend I am celebrating one whole year of blogging!
After a few failed attempts I am glad this blog has stuck around.
It has been a great way to keep in touch with friends and family as well as a place to jot down precious memories. As much as I'd like to think I will remember all the little details of this phase of life, I know that much is lost as time passes.
I remember when I started blogging I was still very much figuring out the whole two-under-two situation, it seemed like the last thing I needed was one more project to take on...but here we are one year later and I am so grateful for each entry.
----------
I know that most of the events documented here are small things really, just our daily happenings, but they are important to us nonetheless...
I never want to forget our "Wednesday" dinners with dear friends...

Take note...I believe Max's basketball career started on this court.

and Eli wants to play baseball apparently.
Which do not always happen on Wednesdays, and sometimes get cancelled last minute...but when we all make it, it is a highlight of our week.

Attempts at a group shot...
We always have at least one mini-heart attack over something dangerous the boys did ( always Kippy or Max).
This week did not disappoint.
--------
I also hope to remember our many days at the park/fountains...although they already blur together into one big happy memory of fun.

Max's new favorite thing is riding his bike in the fountains. Oh so safe.
There was a little pang of sadness this week, when some parents at the park were desperately looking for Eli's mom, as he had climbed up very high on the playground equipment.
I was sitting right there watching him but they looked past me, assuming he wasn't mine.
It was definitely an awkward silence when I retrieved him from his perch.
I know it was an honest mistake, but it still stung.
I think he is too young to be aware of these situations, but I still whispered in his ear, "We know we belong to each other, and that's all that matters."
Just in case.
----------
Also precious are our family celebrations...like my cousin graduating from college this weekend.
We got to spend some time with my grandma, aunt, and cousins on my Dad's side, who we have not seen in far too long.

We are so proud of my cousin and all her accomplishments!

So, cheers to a whole year of blogging, I hope to keep it up!
