Wow, June really flew by at our house...
There are some fun little tidbits still hanging out in the "June" folder to share...

Max at the eye doctor for the first time
My book on 'your toddlers second year' said it is a good idea to take them to the eye doctor. So to the eye doctor we went. I'm not sure why I scheduled this while Julian was out of town, but thankfully Nana was there to help out. The entire ordeal took 3 hours. Oh yes, I said 3 hours. If you've ever met Max you know he is not the type of kid you want to have in your waiting room...we tried Elmo, we tried snacks, but he still managed to nearly pull a mirror of the wall, Nana caught him just in time. He did not enjoy having his eyes dilated, but he did like all of the fancy "toys" they used in the exam. Eli is a little miracle and he slept through the entire thing (thank you Eli!). Thankfully the end result is that we now know that those beautiful eyes are also completely healthy!

I love sun hats on babies, so cute!
These are some sweet photos from a play date earlier this month. Again, Julian was out of town...apparently I blocked everything that happened that week out of my mind until now :D

We call this 'lip smoosh'
Eli has been a happy camper in his sling these days. He loves to be carried around and he just takes the world in. I have way too many pictures of everything of what we refer to as "lip smoosh", but I just can't get over those juicy lips!
Here's a sweet clip of Max feeding his friend...they imitate absolutely everything these days!
With that we bid farewell to June, and embrace July with open arms! We are looking forward to cheering our friend Tejay Van Garderen on in the Tour de France and watching some Olympics this month!
