A birthday party...

It was hot hot hot this weekend!

We celebrated the second birthday of one of Max's buddies this weekend. 

 

Happy Birthday!!

There's nothing like bubbles, a petting zoo, and a train to usher in a child's third year. Eli and I stayed under the shelter while Julian and Max explored the park, and the afternoon was topped off with homemade strawberry cake. 

It's officially birthday season and one by one each of the little ones in our play group is going to turn two over the next few months.

Max is next. 

It seems like just yesterday we were planning their 1st birthday parties. 

I just can't say this enough...they grow up so fast.
