A little bit of pumpkin carving...

The little dragons made their debut at our neighborhood pumpkin festival last weekend.
I think they enjoyed both wearing their costumes and seeing all of the other kids dressed up at the same time.

This is so Max, he makes friends with kids wherever we go. He just walked right up and joined in on their game. And they accepted him. Kids are neat.
We went on our third! hayride of the season, definitely fun but I think we are good for the year now...

We ate some yummy caramel corn and there was another round of picking pumpkins, it's so much easier when they have them all lined up for you!

----------

Max has been asking when we will "put faces" on the pumpkins, we finally rolled out some butcher paper and did some carving last night.

Max was counting pumpkin seeds, funny boy.
It definitely felt like October...a chilly night out on the patio, caramel corn, pumpkin seeds everywhere, candles lighting up our silly faced pumpkins...I love these annual traditions we look forward to each year.

And, of course, with little boys in the house, no matter what you are doing there will be cars involved...

After two pumpkins we were all cold and hungry so we called it a night.

Maybe not the fanciest pumpkins in the world, but we had a lot of fun making them!
