A post for the wild things

My camera is back!
I missed it so.

If there is anything I have learned in my 2 years as a mother, it is to take pictures well in advance of big events. The little ones are usually not in the mood to be photographed in the midst of festivities.

So we took some time to take some pictures of the boys in their Halloween costumes this weekend.
( There are so many pictures that I put them in the little video below)

I am so in love with these costumes. These boys. My little wild things.

Max is straight off the pages of this book, but Eli makes a funny "wild thing" because he is so NOT wild. At all. It was hard to get pictures of him where he didn't have a huge smile on his face...and in the remainder he looks a little confused because I was making growling noises at him.

These costumes were a huge hit with the people passing by. Several people walked up to us to actually look more closely at the costumes and touched them. A few people even asked if our son was actually named Max, which made me laugh, they must have thought we were hard core about Halloween or something.

And one lady told us that our king and the buffalo were very cute ;D
