A Friday distraction

Sometimes when both boys are sleeping and I'm looking for ways to avoid my never ending to-do list, I think about all of the things I can't wait to teach Max and Eli.

I wouldn't say that Max is entirely named after a set physics equations... but once we had decided on Max because we love its meaning, "the greatest", we were swayed towards the longer version Maxwell because we both liked that he would share his name with the equations describing electromagnetism.

So today at the young age of 21 months, I introduced Maxwell to his equations.

In true Max fashion he said "wow" pointed out the letter B and then proceeded to scribble his own ramblings right on top of them.

I'm considering our first lesson a great success.

I look forward to teaching my fearless and creative boy so many things.

Sadly, after the equations Max had to learn another lesson - you can't draw on furniture and walls with chalk.
