A Sunday morning...

A Sunday morning spent in the blanket swing.

The little boys giggle and beg to do it "again" (Eli's favorite sign right now).

Julian and I share the weight until my arms can't take it anymore and he carries on alone.

We've been talking about how Max will start to form permanent memories now that he is almost 3 and we're curious about what will stick from this time period.  I snap these pictures in case this Sunday morning memory fades, but I hope he remembers swinging around in a soft blanket with his brother, laughing until he can hardly breathe, begging us to never stop.
That seems like a good place to start to me.

I'm giddy over a lot things lately...like blanket swings, permanent memory, cloudy days that feel like autumn, and most of all what feels like an abundance of time.
The boys are both sleeping solidly through the night, even sleeping in until close to 7 most days (gasp!!), then taking long afternoon naps simultaneously...and suddenly there is more time in the day.  I found myself wandering around scrubbing walls and organizing closets this weekend, things I enjoy but neglected back in the days of two under two.

Birthdays always bring about a time a reflection for me, and with Max turning three this week I have been thinking a lot about where we've been, where we are, and so on.
Hopefully I will be able to better articulate these thoughts soon...in short, we had a really good weekend.
