A little tidbit...

this is the song our family blog is named after.

It was on my work playlist in graduate school, occasionally popping up as I was pipetting away, always sparking daydreams about our future family.

And sometimes it just hits me.
Here we are.
That family.

Making cupcakes and frosting from scratch on a Saturday afternoon.

Every time I make this frosting I think of my friend Rebecca who taught me this recipe, I love that I will think of her every time we make this. 

These little guys are so much more than I ever imagined.

I'm so grateful for these souls I dreamed of long before we met.
And homemade cupcakes with sprinkles.
