I realized today that we have had a play date/get together/outing every single day since we got back from Utah.
I may or may not be avoiding the nap time battle with Max ;D
It is so much better to have a get together with friends, let Max fall asleep in the car, and then transfer my sleeping boy to his bed...
We have been frequenting all of our regular places... running laps around Monkey Bizness, pulling the wagon around the mall, stretching little legs in the open fields at Chatfield, and we even had a crafting day at a friends house this week (my friends crafted while I watched).
Here are some snapshots of our busy busy December days:

Monkey Bizness with friends
We have made a couple of trips to Monkey Biz in the past couple of weeks.
Last week we met our friends Julie and Hayley for some play time.

There are no pictures of Max at Monkey Bizness because he just runs from one awesome piece of play equipment to another. Also, he thinks the snack station is a walk up buffet. I think we bought 3 cheese sticks, 2 milk boxes, and a package of goldfish crackers last time we were there.
Dinner with Grandpa
We met my Dad for dinner and a little bit of shopping.
Grandpa gave Max this Buzz Lightyear fan and he hasn't put it down since.
We had a truly scary moment in the Disney store where we thought we had lost Max for a couple of minutes. We were all standing there together looking at stuffed animals and the next second Max was gone. Julian and I both immediately headed up to the entrance of the store to see if he had ran away, or even worse if someone was carrying him away. Julian told me to stay there while he searched the store. I stood there with my hands shaking and my stomach in knots. I could feel the tears stinging my eyes. Thankfully, Julian found him a couple of minutes later, hiding in a tunnel that we didn't know existed under the stuffed animal display.
That was the scariest 3-4 minutes of motherhood I have experienced.
I have been holding Max a little tighter ever since.
The mall + the wagon
There are no pictures for this section.
My friend Nicole and I have made a few trips to the mall in search of a Christmas present.
We get the strangest looks towing around 4 kids 2 and under...
We have not yet managed to buy said present...but we will persevere.
Trip to Boulder
I met my friend Amber for lunch and a movie on Saturday. It was so refreshing to have some girl time to chat and we caught the last installment of the Twilight series (please don't judge me).
On the way home, I stopped for a quick visit with "Uncle Tejay".
It was great to catch up on his happenings and he sent me on my way with a bottle of wine from his cellar.
I talked to my brother on the way home and he said, " You know that's a really nice bottle of wine right?" Actually, I didn't...I was swinging it around by the bottle neck as I walked to the car...
When I arrived home, Julian confirmed that this was indeed a very nice bottle of wine.
So nice that he half jokingly said we should put it on our home owners insurance.
It doesn't feel safe anywhere in our house...but we are looking forward to a reason to celebrate and pop this baby open!!

Phew. I might have to actually put Max down for a nap one of these days, but for now we are loving the unseasonably warm weather and spending time with friends and family.
