A recital

Last week, Max had his first preschool recital. 

It was a special celebration for the fathers, since school isn't in session on Father's Day. 

It started with breakfast in his classroom.

His teacher had helped the kids make some adorable artwork and a decorated can for Julian to keep his pens in at work. 

Next, the students gathered to sing two songs. 

"I'm So Wonderfully Made"

"Jesus Loves Me"

I cried. 

I think Julian might have even teared up a little...

Such a classic parenting moment, the first time you see your little one up on stage. 

I love the "Hi Moms" mixed in with these precious voices.  

I have to admit I was on the fence...but preschool is pretty neat.
