A birthday party...

 I love it when we have a birthday party to look forward to.

It's so fun to celebrate another year of life and shared memories. 

This weekend we were celebrating our buddy Liam. 

We intended to arrive early and help Nicole with the finishing touches...did that happen? 

Not so much. 

We were our usual 20 minutes late, but it didn't matter because everything was already set up and it looked perfect. GO Nicole!

Maybe I redeemed myself a little bit by bringing Elmo cookies. 

 

Everything was Sesame Street themed, which was a big hit with the toddlers. Seriously...who doesn't love Elmo? 

We played and ate and played some more.

Beckett and Eli had a major stare down with the party hats on. They were very intrigued by each other, but also not sure what to think. Oh, babies. 

It has been a little bittersweet watching the kids in our playgroup turn 2, one by one. 

It seems like just yesterday they were babies. 

They are growing up so fast.
